Lay the paper cone flat...use your hole punch to punch a hole through paper cone. If the flowers are heavy you may want to place a hole reinforcement on each hole. Thread your choice of ribbon thru holes. Fill with favorite flowers...a tip for cutting hydrangeas...the later in the year you cut your hydrangeas the better, the color will stay and keep shape if you cut them in the fall. Once the hydrangeas are cut place in vase with water. After 1-2 days pour out water. Leave hydrangeas in vase...will be ready for arranging in 3-4 days.
We receive the cones in bundles. The manufacturer gathers them together at the top of the cone with string. There will be a small hole at the top of the cone. We have used our decorative scissors to cut the cones for the photos below, or you can fold the extra flap over at the top. Thanks so much for checking out our paper cones...they are so fun!
